At lotre, design means one thing above all: collaboration. Our ethos of sustainable knitting is always based on close collaboration so that we can realize your vision just the way you feel it.

Our Studio

The bricks surrounding our studio in Berlin Marzahn have many stories to tell: built as part of Germany's largest market for live stock in 1900, these old bricks witnessed everything from military use to hosting events where clothes were not appreciated. Now, a range of lively young startups populate the grounds and bring new ideas into the neighbourhood.

Our Machinery

At the center of our workshop stands an industrial Stoll ADF 32W knitting machine. Nicknamed 'Wilma', we take thorough care of her. Accompanied by professional steaming equipment and two respective 6/7/8 and 12/14/16 gauge linkers, our studio offers everything to support us in finding beautiful knitwear solutions.

Our Expertise

Our extensive experience with our own label has often helped us to translate our customers' ideas into great knitwear, supported by an extensive yarn and swatch library. If we nevertheless reach our limits, we have a strong network throughout Europe with which we can solve any problem, be it in development or production.
